I was going to apply for jobs in the US, but I intended to get the resume help from a local company so they could understand my background and present it more favorably. Price policy

Like most of the resume sites, this one has different prices for different career levels. For instance, fresher’s resume is $60, $80 is the price for mid-level professional, and a top manager will have to pay $150. There were, however, no prices for cover letter, online profiles or any additional services. However, I clicked on Order now and paid for resume writing. I also emailed my current resume as they requested and asked if it was possible to write a cover letter for me too.

I got a reply two hours later; they sent me Skills Assessment document I was supposed to complete and the instruction how to pay for cover letter. It took me a while to complete this file and I returned it to them only the next day. I would also appreciate if they had discounts (big companies like http://resume-online.com/ usually offer them) or options to choose the deadline as waiting for a week may not be convenient for someone.

Support and writing quality

The company has an email and phone number to get in touch. However, I sometimes had to call several times to reach them, and of course they are available in office hours only. In a week they finally delivered my resume and cover letter. It was obvious that they were written professionally. However, the writer showcased my sales experience while I was going to develop as a manager. The cover letter outlined my personal qualities rather than professional ones.

Conclusion

As they promised free rewriting within 7 days, I asked to change my resume and present me as a good manager. I was satisfied with my resume until I was pointed out that the writer didn’t add keywords and used the structure which wasn’t common in the US. So I’d recommend you to stay on the local resume companies which are acknowledged with all aspects of job search.
